森のスペシャリストとどんぐりDAY♪ Let’s enjoy an afternoon with a nature specialist!
拾ったどんぐりについて教えて貰い、種類別に分けて標本を作ろう！
美味しく食べられるどんぐりを炒って食べてみよう！
どんぐり笛を作って音を鳴らしてみよう！
標本や作ったものは持ち帰って飾ってくださいね♪♪
子供も、大人も楽しめます。
大人だけでの参加も大歓迎ですよ！
Learn about the acorns you will pick and classify them by their different kinds!
We will roast the acorns and try them, if you wish.
We will then learn to make an acorn whistle.
You can take home the acorn specimens you make and decorate with them.
Both adults and children are welcome.
注意事項
■ 山を歩くので、歩きやすい格好でお越しください。
■ お飲物はご持参ください。
Please wear appropriate clothing and comfortable footwear for hiking in the mountain.
Cancellation must be done at least two days before the event.
Bring your own refreshments with you.

Profile of Guide : Mr. Kitaoka is a nature specialist, Toyota City official (Forest Division), nature conservation educator for NACS-J (The Nature Conservation Society of Japan), and an editor and commentator for Nihon Donguri Daizukan (An Illustrated Guide to Japanese Acorns), published by Kaisei-sha.

Place: Matsudaira-go Tei (address: 〒444-2202, 9-1 Akabara, Matsudaira-cho, Toyota-shi, Aichi-ken)
Matsudaira-go Tei is a rest area located in Matsudaira-go Park. It can be found in a corner of the Matsudaira-go Festival Plaza.
Access: You may use the Toyota Oiden bus from Meitetsu Toyota-shi Station to the Matsudaira-go bus stop.
Otherwise, Matsudaira-go is accessible driving east on National Highway 301 from Toyota City center for about 20 - 30 minutes.
